MMA merchandise collectors, it’s time to mortgage your house and prepare for massive credit card debt!

The folks over at MMACollector.com are auctioning off a piece of history on eBay. Up for bidding is the actual UFC 114 octagon canvas, covered in blood, sweat and logos. This was the event where Rashad Evans defeated Quinton Jackson after their long hyped feud and TUF series. Topps Trading Cards, who we spoke to at the UFC Fan Expo, has a contract with the UFC to take possession of many of the event canvases and then cut them up to be inserted into the UFC trading cards, so this is a truly rare opportunity to acquire this mat. As I mentioned many times, I am a collector of all things MMA and this would be the jewel of my collection if I could afford such a majestic piece. Look at the size of this frikkin’ thing! Where do you even put it after you buy it?

The UFC 114 canvas auction ends this coming Sunday, September 12th later on in the evening, EST so get your bids in early! You can check out the auction on eBay at this link here, the reserve has not been met as of the time of this post, and chances are this thing will go up in price as quick as it goes up in value! On the other hand, a piece of history this huge (literally) is worth every penny!
