The twelfth season of “The Ultimate Fighter” is still early on, with Josh Koscheck using pranks made by his eight-year old nephew to attempt to break the mind of Georges St. Pierre, but that doesn’t mean it’s too soon to get ready for the next season!
In less than a month, November 4 to be exact, The Red Rock Resort & Casino in Las Vegas will be holding auditions for the thirteenth season of TUF, according to a press release from the UFC. Inside the Summerlin Ballroom, Middleweights (185 lbs) and Welterweights (170 lbs) with at least three professional fights will be called upon to test their skills and try out for their chance for a UFC contract. The application is available at UFC.com and ultimatefighter.com
The fighters must arrive between 8 and 9 AM to register, and will be required to grapple and hit pads, so remember to dress appropriately and bring all necessary gear (Mouth guard, cup, hand wraps & gloves). If you can’t make it to Vegas for the try-outs, you can also mail in a tape but you will have to check out the application on the UFC site for more info on that.
Thirteen seasons of TUF. Pretty crazy it lasted this long, and in the near future will be expanding internationally with versions in other countries if Zuffa has their way. Any of my readers think they are ready for the next season of TUF? And what do you think of this season so far?
