We are less than 24 hours away from the first ever Fight Nerd Video Game Open event, AKA Fall Brawl 2010, located at 8 Bit & Up Gaming in St. Mark’s Place, and that is just enough time to make one last bunch of announcements before we get this UFC Undisputed 2010 tournament under way!

First off, spectators are now FREE to attend! Before, there was a $5 charge but screw that! Save your money and buy some video games instead! Secondly, we have a new pro fighter coming, and that would be the man in the photo above, Tom “Da Tank” Gallicchio! Tom just won his spot in the M-1 Challenge after going 3-0 in the M-1 Global Selection process, cementing his spot after a submission win over Len Bentley. Tom will be coming later in the afternoon, while WEC fighter Nick Pace and King of the Cage flyweight champ Jimmie Rivera will be arriving earlier towards the start of the show.

Plus, as if the prize pool was not big enough, with contributions from The MMA World Expo, Jakks Pacific, Round 5 MMA, Skin Industries, Klutch Wear, No Surrender Fight Wear, BJJ Lifestyle, MMA Worldwide Magazine, TapouT Magazine, M-1 Global, King of the Cage and Topps, I can now announce that famed boxing & UFC cutman, Jacob “Stitch” Duran, who we spoke with about his new autobiography recently, has contributed TWO signed copies of his DVD on how to become a cutman, “One More Round: Saving the fighter”. The DVD is an instructional and round-table discussion with other people in the industry on how to deal with cuts, wrapping hands and more on a very under-discussed but extremely important topic in all combat sports.

Tomorrow is the big day – October 16! The virtual fights start at noon and end whenever, check out all the details at this link here. There are tons of free prizes to be won and tons of freebies to be given out, so come hang out and play some games with us tomorrow! Be there or be pixelated!
