The UFC’s return to New Jersey has added two more fights to their event as Dan and Jim Miller are confirmed to compete at UFC 128!
Yesterday, we gave you a rundown on a good portion of the card and speculated on matches with the New Jersey native, and today they are already probably in training for their bouts. Team Renzo Gracie’s Nick Catone and AMA Fight Club’s Dan Miller meet in a middleweight contest at UFC 128. The fight was confirmed by MMADiehards by both camps. Dan is coming off of a split decision victory over Joe Doerksen earlier this month at UFC 124. riding a two-fight winning streak. Catone’s last fight was a victory over Jesse Forbes at UFC Fight Night 20 over a year ago, with injuries forcing him out of action for the rest of the year.
Meanwhile, Dan’s brother, Jim, will also be fighting at the March 19 event against Kamal Shalorus. The AMA Fight Club fighter has won his last six fights in a row including a first round submission over Charles Oliveira at UFC 124 earlier this month, with Shalorus doing similar as he went undefeated during his time with the WEC.
The main event at UFC 128 is a light-heavyweight championship clash with Mauricio “Shogun” Rua defending his belt against Rashad Evans, supported by a few other notable fights with guys like Urijah Faber, Kurt Pellegrino and Ricardo Almeida.
