Randy Couture is set to appear on this Sunday’s episode of ABC’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,” a show that gives families in need the houses that they deserve or unable to get on their own. The show often brings in celebrity guests to meet with the families and help on the construction of the house, but this is the first time that an MMA fighter has been brought in to lend a helping hand.

This weeks episode is about the Lampe family, whose patriarch teaches wrestling in his garage on the side. Couture will be joined by other celebrities including wrestling legend Dan Gable, Les Stroud of “Survivorman”, and Gabe Rygaard of “Ax Men” on this episode filmed in Louisville, Ky. This means that two MMA fighters/ wrestlers have been on mainstream TV in the same week, as Rulon Gardner began his time in “The Biggest Loser” house, trying to turn his 474 lbs. of flab back into muscle.

Couture recently wrapped filming on “The Setup” with Bruce Willis, rapper 50 Cent and Ryan Phillipe. He is expected to begin filming the sequel to the hit action movie of 2010 starring Sylvester Stallone, “The Expendables,” following his fight with Machida which was recently announced for UFC 129 as his non-retirement fight.

The show airs this Sunday at 8 PM EST on your local ABC channel.
