The short answer is yes. The long answer is OH MY GOD, KIMBO WAS ON A NICKELODEON KIDS SHOW!

Nickelodeon, the same channel that taught us fear with “Are you afraid of the dark?” and made 13 year old boys ask their parents why their underwear felt tight with “The Amanda Show”, have been in the market for a long time with children’s programming. One of their past hit shows was “Drake & Josh.” The show ran from January 11, 2004 to September 16, 2007, and starred Drake Parker and Josh Nichols in the titular roles. However, on December 5, 2008, the basic cable channel ran a holiday special called “Merry Christmas, Drake & Josh”, and that is where this story begins.

Well, that pretty much is the story, and the got Kimbo Slice, who was just announced to participate in a Japanese pro-wrestling tournament against a disgraced sumo wrestler, to appear in the episode as a convict. Here is a quick summation from Wikipedia AKA the greatest source of information on the planet: “Drake throws a Christmas party on the roof of the Premiere, but when a groups of teens trash the place, Josh is arrested and put in jail for a crime which he did not commit. At night, Drake breaks into prison, after he promises to provide a little girl and her foster-family the ‘Best Christmas Ever’. But when he’s caught, both Drake & Josh are threatened to prison for many years, if they don’t keep the promise.” There is more to the episode, but we came to see Kimbo on a kids show, so check out the video above to see the wackiness. It’s not nearly as good as when Bas Rutten was on Cartoon Network, but few things in this world could ever hope to be that spectacular.
