Bellator announces return to New Jersey in 2014 with Bantamweight title fight

Bellator MMA will return to Atlantic City’s Revel on Friday, May 2nd live on Spike TV as “The Baddest Man On The Planet” Joe Warren will look to reclaim a Bellator Title when he battles the winner of the Eduardo Dantas vs. Rafael Silva Bantamweight Title fight, which takes place March 7th live on Spike.

The event will broadcast live at 9 p.m. EST/ 8 p.m. CST on Spike TV. The preliminary card will be streamed live and free on Spike.com beginning at 7 p.m. EST/ 6 p.m. CST. Tickets for the event are on sale now and can be purchased on Ticketmaster.com and Bellator.com.

Warren returns to the Bellator cage after two impressive finishes over Nick Kirk and Travis Marx, capturing his second Bellator Tournament crown. As the former Bellator Featherweight Champion, Warren know what it means to have his Championship banner hang in the rafters, and is just one win away from reclaiming glory.

“I know what it’s like to have the belt wrapped around my waist, and I’m getting it back on May 2nd,” Warren said. “I’ve only been in MMA for about five years, and I feel like I’m just hitting my groove now. I feel great, I feel explosive, I love Bellator, and I want that belt.”

The night will also feature the Bellator Featherweight Tournament Finals, as well a host of fights that will be announced in the coming weeks.
