Dave Branch is a Jersey boy who trains at Renzo Gracie’s gym in NYC, and is a two-division champ in WSOF. Having the promotion’s middleweight and light heavyweight titles in his possession, he has become a fighter that the UFC and Bellator must be kicking themselves over losing – not only for his fighting skills but also for his ability to conduct a darn good interview.
The Fight Nerd caught up with Branch at the WSOF NYC office opening event, and we talked about all sorts of topics involving MMA and beyond.
Branch discusses what he wants to happen to him once he retires from active competition and staying involved in the fight world, breaks down his last fight at WSOF 30 against Clifford Starks, his philosophy on fighting and what type of fight he prefers to have when he steps into the cage, and what the plans are for him fighting in two divisions and defending his twin championships.
Check out the playlist below for more videos from the WSOF NYC office opening event, including an interview WSOF bantamweight champ Marlon Moraes and WSOF CEO Carlos Silva & COO Michael Mersch.
