Marlon Moraes is sitting on top of the WSOF bantamweight division, and if he has his way it will stay that way for a very long time.
The Fight Nerd caught up with Marlon during the opening of the World Series of Fighting’s New York City office, with the company planning to make some big waves in the state and elsewhere this year. A native of Toms River, NJ, Marlon is very excited to have the sport legalized in NY and looks forward to competing in The Big Apple.
Marlon talks about what is next for him in WSOF and his undefeated streak in the promotion, how he has grown since he first began with the company, how he thinks he would fare against UFC champ Dominick Cruz, training with Ricardo Almeida, and why he hates training with Frankie Edgar. We also discussed why Marlon is perpetually smiling and always so happy when he does interviews. This is the guy that you want to be if you are a fighter!
